I started pierceing.com because I saw a gap that frustrated me: people searching for basic piercing questions — how do I clean this? is this infected? what jewelry is safe? — and finding outdated advice, contradictory information, or thinly disguised product ads instead of real answers.
I wanted to build the resource I wished existed when I got my first piercing: one place with everything you need to know, written clearly, backed by real sources, and free from commercial bias. Every guide on this site follows APP (Association of Professional Piercers) standards and is cross-referenced with medical sources including the Cleveland Clinic, NHS, and NCBI.
